Sometimes when I hear of celebrities or people with connections getting arrested I think "oh they'll be out in no time", but that's not always the case and it isn't the case for WBNA star Brittney Griner. She's been detained in Russia since February 17th, 2022 for allegedly having vape cartridges containing cannabis oil in her luggage. If we thought treatment of black prisoner was bad in America, treatment of detained foreigners in Russia is worse. We have no idea of her well-being at this time. Drug charges in Russia face up to 10 years in prison. We hope that she is ok but until such time that we're sure, we're going to keep SAYING HER NAME!
